From Sync., MEDICOM TOY's original brand that proposes playful items cherishing the connection between artists and objects, a new statue inspired by BANKSY's graffiti, "Mona Launcher," will be released at 2G and MEDICOM TOY PLUS.

The motif this time is the Mona Lisa statue that Banksy is said to have left in London's Soho district in 2007. Even Leonardo da Vinci's masterpiece, one of the world's most famous paintings, is dressed up by Banksy to wear a headset and hold a rocket launcher. Its aggressive posture, depicted in black and white stencil on the wall, could be said to be the world's most cynical smile in a sense.

This stencil has been brought to life in a 3D form with a total height of approximately 380mm. The anti-violence message, a mismatch between symbols of peace and weapons that Banksy has repeatedly expressed, is strongly evident in this "Mona Launcher" as well.

Coincidentally, at this time when the world is contemplating the meaninglessness of war and the preciousness of peace, we hope you will fully feel the immense power of art from this statue.
