Venue Design by Architect Akihisa Hirata

Milan Salone, renowned for its significant global influence, has increasingly become a platform for brand communication, extending beyond the realm of design exhibitions in recent years.

The Panasonic Group aims to realize a lifestyle that harmonizes comfort and ecology, by generating, storing, and efficiently utilizing electricity from renewable energy sources without burdening the environment. During Milan Salone, they will showcase an installation that likens their "energy creation" (solar panels), "energy storage" (batteries), "energy saving" (LED and OLED lighting), and "energy management system" to the "photosynthesis" of plants, the origin of ecological cycles.

This year's venue design is entrusted to architect Akihisa Hirata (Hirata Architects Office), who integrates an ecological perspective into his architectural and spatial designs. Expectations are high for this, Panasonic's first outdoor spatial presentation.
