THE CONRAN SHOP is launching a new furniture series in mid-July by British designer Magnus Long, known for his work on products for interior spaces, including furniture and lighting.

A designer pursuing "elegant solutions"
Magnus Long is a British designer based in London, specializing in product design for interior spaces, encompassing furniture and lighting. He is also the founder of the award-winning design collective "Viable London" and lectures at Central Saint Martins in London.
He consistently pursues "elegant solutions," simplifying and enhancing human behavior and manufacturing processes through his product designs.
Regarding this furniture series, Long commented, "Designing furniture requires an understanding of engineering and structure, alongside a sense of shape, beauty, and product identity. It's wonderful that this collaboration with The Conran Shop, which is passionate about intellectual property and promoting design, has come to fruition."
Exclusive designs for The Conran Shop
Suitable for both private and public settings, this new furniture series features a diverse lineup, including the "Stix Table," inspired by Asian bamboo crafts and interior structures, and the "Neat Dining Chair" with its appealingly light form.
The collection comprises a total of 10 items designed for The Conran Shop, tailored for contemporary living. These include the "Six Leg Coffee Table," "Workshop Console Table," dining chairs, lounge chairs, and shelves.
A hallmark of this series is its diverse use of materials. High-quality Italian marble, European oak, leather, and polished copper are mixed to create an overall elegant and contemporary aesthetic.
