iPhone/iPod Sound System "ixoost"

The "ixoost" sound system, exclusively for iPhone/iPod and crafted from genuine exhaust pipes of F1 and sports cars, launched on August 6th (Tuesday) at RESTIR DIGITAL. These all-handmade speakers are produced in Modena, Italy, the home of Ferrari.

A Striking Form

The brand name "ixoost" derives from the English word "exhaust." The speaker component utilizes a manifold (exhaust collector). Various manifolds from 8, 10, and 12-cylinder engines, such as those from Ferrari and Maserati, are available for selection. Furthermore, the color and material of the parts can also be chosen, resulting in a truly unique, one-of-a-kind speaker.

It features clear, resonant mid-tones, with a 140W amplifier and built-in subwoofer for powerful bass. You can also download engine sound apps for your iPhone/iPod to enhance the experience.

A sample unit, the "2008 Ferrari F1056 V8-08/216 (V8 model)," is currently on display in the digital corner on the first floor of the "RESTIR Boutique" in Roppongi Midtown, where listening is also possible.

Orders can be placed via the "dedicated application WEB form" on the special website (http://www.restir.com/brand/ixoost/). As this is a made-to-order product, delivery will take approximately 3 to 4 months.
