Combining Refined Design with High Performance

Marantz was established in 1953 by Saul B. Marantz in the United States as a brand for developing, manufacturing, and selling premium audio products. Today, 60 years after its founding, while technology continues to evolve and increase in complexity, the founding spirit of Saul B. Marantz—to surpass the expectations of discerning music lovers—is consistently reflected in Marantz products.

The "Music Link" series is a component system that fuses elegant design with authentic Hi-Fi audio performance, all integrated into a compact platform.

Marantz HD-AMP1 and HD-CD1

The "HD-CD1," released this time, adopts the same chassis size as the USB-DAC equipped integrated amplifier "HD-AMP1" released in December 2015. When combined with the HD-AMP1, it achieves authentic sound comparable to full-size components in a space-saving design.

It features the high-quality Cirrus Logic "CS4398" D/A converter and an ultra-low phase noise crystal oscillator for high-precision D/A conversion with suppressed jitter. The analog output stage employs a full discrete configuration with HDAM® for a high-speed, information-rich sound.

For digital output, high-quality components such as thin-film polymer multilayer capacitors are used to achieve low noise and low distortion. Additionally, it includes a high-quality headphone amplifier with a gain switching function.

Furthermore, a double-layered chassis and aluminum die-cast insulators realize chassis rigidity that surpasses that of full-size components.
