Tani, who had always thought, "I want to make a job out of what I love! Let's find a path where I can do what I love, the way I want to do it!" since childhood, entered the fashion industry he loved and steadily achieved his dreams by going independent at the age of 25.

To realize his dream, he joined Daytona International, which operates the select shop "FREAKS STORE," and actively put himself forward, appealing his desire for independence! Within six months of joining, he was selected as the project leader for the turnaround of an unprofitable store in Harajuku. In the limited period of six months, he reportedly put all his ideas into action.

He repainted the store's interior from black to white overnight and changed the selected merchandise—Through these initiatives, he succeeded in turning the store profitable within the promised six months. He then launched "STUDIOUS" as a division manager within the company. Rather than continuing as a division manager, he persuaded the president to let him make STUDIOUS completely independent, bought out the then three STUDIOUS stores, and successfully achieved independence!

Currently, he focuses on "creations originating from Tokyo" rather than "Made in Japan," operating 17 "STUDIOUS" select shops nationwide and 4 "UNITED TOKYO" contemporary brand stores nationwide. And on September 2nd of this year, STUDIOUS Co., Ltd. successfully became a company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Mothers Market!
