An Evening with Cinderella...

While attending Bunka Fashion College, Kiyokawa also worked as a magazine model. She began exhibiting her work in solo shows in 2001. Kiyokawa is known for her unique technique of embroidering photographs, with each piece being a one-of-a-kind creation born from the sensibility of the moment. Her works are as beautiful as if magic had been cast upon photographs, drawing viewers in with their splendor and delicacy.

Her 2012 exhibition "Asami Kiyokawa: Collecting Beauties" at Omotesando Hills recorded the highest attendance for a solo exhibition held at the venue. While she has a reputation for works that beautifully capture women, in 2013 she presented "Danshi," a series of works featuring male models, expressing the aesthetics and lives of men. All of these works are stunning.

Today, her creative activities extend beyond fine art to encompass costume design, spatial design, film, advertising, installations, and product design.

Waking before sunrise each morning, she works diligently, retiring for the night around midnight. We hope to delve into her overflowing sensibility, which allows her to immerse herself in creative work, and gain insight into her worldview.

Won't you join us for a Cinderella-like evening?
We look forward to seeing you there.
