Experience a Rich Living Space Full of Originality

Upon entering the Cassina ixc. Aoyama store, the bamboo "TOKYO" shoe rack is found, blending in yet asserting its presence within a bamboo installation created by Makoto Azuma.

The main theme of this new Charlotte Perriand exhibition is to shed light not only on her designed products but also on Perriand's philosophy and her cultural exchange with Japan.


The highlight is the 3rd floor, where scenes are composed with models designed by Perriand. Incorporating new pieces, the exhibition showcases her unique soft modernism, influenced by Japanese culture, and her distinctive worldview inspired by anonymous forms.

Also on the 3rd floor, furniture recreated in a gallery style can be enjoyed alongside photographs, which were a crucial tool for Charlotte Perriand's inspiration and philosophical exploration, serving as records and intellectual stimuli for her work.
