In 2007, he debuted as a screenwriter with the film "Mirai Yoshōzu," inspired by a DREAMS COME TRUE song. Recently, he has penned numerous novels and screenplays centered on romance. His novel "Owakon," a satire on contemporary views of marriage with a "30% divorce rate" and "20% lifelong single rate," has resonated with many and garnered significant attention, becoming a topic of discussion across various media. This is Ryuto Shibasaki.

Ryuto SHIBAZAKI

Born in Tokyo. Graduated from Keio University, Faculty of Economics. Formerly with The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. In 2004, he won the 11th Mita Bungaku Newcomer Award for his debut novel "Champagne Cadillac." In 2007, he debuted as a screenwriter with the film "Mirai Yoshōzu," based on a DREAMS COME TRUE song. Alongside his writing career, he works as a concept planner, branding perfumes, cosmetics, and more. In 2010, he moved to Amuse, Inc.
