Anticipating How THINK's Usual Venue Will Transform with Live Music

Double Famous is a band entering their 20th year. The current lineup consists of six members, each playing multiple instruments. Their music, a tapestry woven from two decades of history and the unique personalities of its members, is known as Tokyo's exotic music.


We're excited to see how the usual THINK venue will change with the raw sound of live instruments. Please join us on the evening of the 19th to experience this live music.

Double Famous
Their activities began organically in 1993, centered around monthly live performances at the event "Brilliant Colors" (Shimokitazawa Zoo/Slitz), which they co-hosted with friends. Drawing music from distant islands, continents, mountain valleys, and street corners to their own locale, their sound eventually came to be known as Tokyo's exotic music. Beyond outdoor festivals like Fuji Rock and Asagiri Jam, they appear spontaneously at restaurants and galleries across Japan as a dance hall band.
While their pace is exceptionally relaxed, in recent years they have expanded their scope to include collaborations with contemporary dance. To date, they have released five original albums, a collection of unreleased tracks, and the visual work "Tuesday Waltz." http://www.doublefamous.com/
