Four Drinking Buddies Get Serious
Art director Ryosuke Uehara, editor Souken Ito, art director and designer Rikako Nagashima, and art director and graphic designer Shogo Kishino. These four, who are simply drinking buddies, will apparently engage in serious discussion.
What exactly does an art director do? What can be achieved by hiring an art director? For those curious about the profession of an art director, this is a must-see, must-hear event. We will introduce the work of art directors with live demonstrations. We eagerly await your attendance.

Ryosuke Uehara
Art Director. Born in 1972. After working at DRAFT co.,ltd, he established ki-gi co.,ltd in Daikanyama, Shibuya-ku in January 2012. He has handled graphics for THEATRE PRODUCTS, PASS the BATON, and others. He also planned and designed numerous products as a designer for D-BROS. In April, he participated in the exhibition "Meandering Through the Garden" at the Vangi Sculpture Garden Museum of Art. In May 2012, he held "ki-gi Exhibition" at Ginza Graphic Gallery (ggg), and in February 2013,"Ki-gi Exhibition Continued: Convergence and Diffusion"was held.

Souken Ito
Editor. Born in Fukuoka Prefecture in 1974. He has worked as an editor for various media and advertisements, including the magazines "BRUTUS" and "Casa BRUTUS."
Rikako Nagashima
Art Director & Designer. Born in 1980. Her work spans a wide range, including annual image advertising for "Laforet Harajuku," package design for the chocolate "YVAN VALENTIN," the non-nuclear project "PEACE SHADOW PROJECT" with contemporary artist Tatsuo Miyajima, the water mirror installation "mizukagami," and accessories "Human_Nature." She is scheduled to hold a solo exhibition at Ginza Graphic Gallery (ggg) this October.

Shogo Kishino
Art Director & Graphic Designer. Born in Tokyo in 1975. After graduating from the Tokyo YMCA Design Institute, he studied under Masamasa Hiroimura at Hiroimura Design Office. He became independent in 2007 and established 6D. In 2010, he received the JAGDA New Designer Award and the ADC Award. In 2011, he held his first solo exhibition "HANDMADE GRAPHIC," and in 2012, he received the Kids Design Award and the Reconstruction Design Award. In 2012, he received the DFA Silver Award at the Asia Design Prize. He is a part-time lecturer in CI/VI Sign Planning at Tokyo Zokei University of Art and Design.
