Bulgari Custom-Crafts the Electric Fiat 500

Italian jewelry house Bulgari has unveiled the "Bulgari 500 / B.500 BY BVLGARI," a one-of-a-kind custom-made electric Fiat 500.

The Logo Motif on the Steering Wheel Detaches to Become a Brooch

The "Bulgari 500" body, inspired by Rome, Bulgari's birthplace, is painted in Bulgari's signature Imperial Saffron color, mixed with gold dust from the jewelry-making process at the Valenza workshop. It is said to represent the colors of eternal Rome's marble and ruins, the orange sunset, and the autumn light that streams into Roman palaces.

The exterior features Bulgari's iconic "Parentesi" openwork design on the front, inspired by Roman cobblestones. The wheels have a golden 8-point star design.

The interior is truly worthy of being called a "jewel car," with a dashboard covered in colorful silk featuring Bulgari's "Teardrop" fan motif, accents of diamonds, amethysts, citrines, and topazes, an original B.500 logo on the steering wheel center that can be removed and used as a brooch, a bespoke jewelry case, and leather seats with the same color and design as the dashboard.

These three models, along with special editions from fashion brand Armani and furniture maker Kartell announced concurrently, are scheduled to appear at an auction this July.
