Toyota Launches Affordable 'Commute Assist Rental Car' for Healthcare Workers
Amidst the spread of the coronavirus, Toyota Motor Corporation has launched the "Commute Assist Rental Car" plan, offering rental cars at affordable prices during commute hours for those who need to travel for work to support society, such as to medical institutions and public transportation.

Starting from ¥1,100 per day, available until the coronavirus situation subsides
Toyota Rent a Car, which already began offering its "U-Car Lease" service for corporate clients on April 30th, has now launched a low-cost service for individuals, including healthcare professionals and public transport workers, for their commutes.
Approximately 360 Toyota Rent a Car locations nationwide, from Hokkaido to Kyushu, will accept "Commute Assist Rental Car" reservations. Specifically, rentals are limited to departures after 3 PM and returns by 10 AM the following day, with plans ranging from a basic rate of ¥1,100 per day to a maximum of ¥2,500, including the waiver system.
The service will be available until the new coronavirus infection subsides. The applicable vehicle classes and availability may vary by Toyota Rent a Car location.
