Support Equivalent to Radar Safety Package for Web Orders
The "Radar Safety Package," previously an optional feature for the C-Class, is now standard on many of its models.
The "Radar Safety Package" includes features such as "Active Steering Assist," which recognizes the vehicle ahead on highways and adjusts the distance while also recognizing lanes and guardrails, assisting with steering on curves. It also incorporates "Active Brake Assist," which detects the risk of collision with crossing vehicles or pedestrians and provides visual and auditory warnings, or activates emergency automatic braking, along with "Traffic Jam Brake Function" and "Active Lane Keeping Assist."
Furthermore, a campaign is being offered through "Pre-Order Mercedes," an online reservation service, where customers purchasing the eligible "C 180," "C 200," "C 200 4MATIC," or "C220d" will receive support equivalent to the cost of the "Radar Safety Package" (¥209,000).
Prices for the eligible models start at ¥4.84 million for the Sedan, ¥5.09 million for the Station Wagon, ¥6.07 million for the Coupe, and ¥6.60 million for the Cabriolet. However, price adjustments are scheduled to take effect from April 2020.
