The Long-Awaited "Roadster" Arrives for the Aston Martin Vantage

A Wealth of New Options to Commemorate the Vantage's 70th Anniversary

A convertible model has been added to the current Vantage, which was first unveiled in 2017.

The powertrain features a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine producing 510ps and 685Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. It achieves 0-100km/h in 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 306km/h with the roof closed. Furthermore, thanks to a newly developed Z-pattern lightweight folding roof mechanism and optimized exterior and chassis, the weight increase over the coupe is limited to just 60kg.

Driving performance and dynamics are on par with the coupe model. Additionally, the rear dampers, adaptive damping system, and driving modes have been specifically tuned for the Roadster, delivering exceptional performance on both public roads and the track.

The newly developed Z-pattern fabric top operates in under seven seconds, opening in 6.7 seconds and closing in 6.8 seconds. It can be opened or closed at speeds up to 50km/h. The design minimizes impact on luggage space, creating a seamless style while maintaining a trunk capacity of 200 liters.

Alongside the announcement of the Vantage Roadster, a range of new options for the entire lineup, including the coupe, were revealed to celebrate the Vantage's 70th anniversary. Aston Martin's signature "wings grille" has been incorporated into both the coupe and Roadster. Additionally, the coupe can now be equipped with a 7-speed manual transmission, expanding the choices available.
