Gasoline / Diesel / PHEV Lineup

The previous generation Peugeot 308, which premiered in 2013, achieved great success in the compact saloon segment, including winning the European Car of the Year award in 2014, and has sold over 7 million units cumulatively.
The new model, fully redesigned after nine years, utilizes the multi-energy compatible EMP2 (Efficient Modular Platform 2) platform. As Peugeot's latest generation model, it features an exterior design including the new emblem, a significantly evolved high-quality Peugeot i-Cockpit, updated ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems), and a lineup of gasoline, diesel, and PHEV powertrains based on the "Power of Choice" concept, allowing users to select their powertrain according to diverse values such as lifestyle, usage conditions, and environmental consciousness.
Additionally, Peugeot's new infotainment system, Peugeot i-Connect, offers a new user experience through a comprehensive package of navigation, voice control, and connectivity.
The body types remain the conventional hatchback (HB) and station wagon (SW). Three powertrain options are available: a 1.2-liter gasoline engine (130ps/250Nm), a 1.5-liter clean diesel engine (130ps/300Nm), and a 2WD PHEV combining a 1.6-liter gasoline engine (180ps/250Nm) with an electric motor (110ps/320Nm), offering a 64km EV driving range (WLTC) and a combined output of 225ps/360Nm. All models feature an 8-speed automatic transmission. The trim levels are the Allure, offering a well-balanced set of features for an entry model, and the GT, which incorporates all the new technologies of the new 308.
Body dimensions are: HB: 4,420mm (length) x 1,850mm (width) x 1,475mm (height), with a wheelbase of 2,680mm. SW: 4,655mm (length) x 1,850mm (width) x 1,485mm (height), with a wheelbase of 2,730mm. Compared to the previous generation, the HB is 145mm longer, 45mm wider, 5mm taller, and has a 60mm longer wheelbase. The SW is 55mm longer, 45mm wider, 10mm taller, and has the same wheelbase. These dimensions represent a slight increase in size, offering a more spacious cabin and enhanced cargo capacity.
Thanks to the powertrain incorporating the latest technology and the lightweight body, excellent fuel economy figures have been achieved: 17.9km/ℓ for the 308 Allure and 21.6km/ℓ for the 308 Allure BlueHDi in WLTC mode. Prices range from 3,053,000 to 4,906,000 yen for the 308, and 3,253,000 to 5,306,000 yen for the 308 SW.
