Artistic Creations Inspired by Total Solar Eclipses and Amber

To convey the infinite possibilities of Ghost, Rolls-Royce is exhibiting bespoke models in major cities worldwide, each specially designed to represent a new expression of the Ghost.
The Ghost that appeared in Tokyo this time is painted in Toucan Purple, inspired by the southern night sky surrounding the Tucana constellation, with the motif of the large-billed toucan, a bird found in South America.
The bold purple body colour, embodying both the contemporary image and playful spirit of the Ghost, is accented with lime green, creating a striking contrast.

Furthermore, the instrument dials, which enhance the interior's beauty, bring a sense of dynamism with their expressive colours, chosen through customization.
Rolls-Royce has created numerous special bespoke Ghost models beyond the one presented in Tokyo. Let's take a look at some examples.
The Ghost, titled 'Black Badge Ghost Éclat de Nuit', is a limited private collection of 25 units inspired by a total solar eclipse.
The Starlight Headliner features a special sequence that masterfully recreates the solemn moment when the moon completely obscures the sun. A ring of corona, formed by 940 optical fibres, appears around the moon's silhouette.
Additionally, 192 stars scattered across the headliner emit light, recreating the fantastical sight of stars twinkling in the daytime sky, visible only during a total solar eclipse.
This animation lasts for 7 minutes and 31 seconds, the maximum duration of a total solar eclipse, after which the starry sky reappears.
The bezel of the timepiece features a 0.5-carat brilliant-cut diamond, a first for Rolls-Royce, evoking the 'diamond ring' effect seen during a total solar eclipse.
Another unique 'one of one' Ghost celebrates the historic connection between Manchester and Rolls-Royce. Manchester is the city where Rolls-Royce founders Charles Rolls and Henry Royce first met and agreed to create 'the world's finest automobile'.
Inspired by the poem 'This is the Place' by British poet Tony Walsh, a tribute to his hometown of Manchester, the illuminated fascia features a laser-etched aerial photograph of Manchester. The Manchester bee, the city's emblem, is also depicted on the seats, showcasing the special connection between Manchester and Rolls-Royce in every detail.
Also featured is the 'Ghost Amber Road,' inspired by amber, known as the 'gold of the north.' This collection of just 12 units features a two-tone exterior of Lyrical Copper and Cornish White over Bronze, expressing the warm, lustrous characteristics of amber.
Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended Urban Sanctuary
In addition, there are models showcasing Rolls-Royce's advanced marquetry (wood inlay) techniques, and one developed with the client's signature colour, Champagne Rose, applied inside and out. These are unique Ghosts, each a testament to the exceptional skills of the artisans.
These are 'works' that offer a glimpse into the deep and boundless world of Rolls-Royce Bespoke.
