A wild and stylish special edition of the AMG G63 has arrived.
Mercedes-AMG G 63 Offroad Pro Edition
Mercedes-Benz Japan has launched a limited edition of 150 units of the "Mercedes-AMG G 63" special model, the "Offroad Pro Edition." This G-Class stands out with accents like its roof luggage rack.

A more powerful impression with black accents and a matte body finish
Since its birth as a cross-country vehicle, the G-Class has evolved by adding optimal powertrains and equipment while maintaining its fundamental styling and robust body.
The DNA inherited by the current G-Class, unveiled in 2024, remains intact, with powertrain electrification via ISG, digitalization through MBUX, and improvements in aerodynamics and quietness, all while preserving the body shape.
A key feature of this special edition is the "AMG Offroad Package PRO," adopted for the first time on a G63 in Japan, which includes a professional-grade roof luggage rack and spare tire holder.
The roof luggage rack, with its striking black finish, is equipped with a ladder extending towards the rear panel. While the spare tire on the tailgate typically has a cover that encloses the entire tire, this special edition features a holder that secures only the central part of the tire.
Complementing these professional items, which boast a strong black presence, the body color is finished in a special matte paint. Customers can choose between two colors: "MANUFAKTUR Dark Olive Magno" and "MANUFAKTUR Platinum Magno."
The vehicle is fitted with exclusive "20-inch AMG alloy wheels" for this model. The "AMG Exterior Night Package II," featuring black accents on the front and rear three-pointed stars and other details, enhances the exterior. Even the lining boards and brake calipers are finished in black, contributing to the powerful overall impression.
The interior offers Nappa leather seats in two color schemes to match the body color. The "MANUFAKTUR Dark Olive Magno" exterior is paired with "MANUFAKTUR Catalana Beige/Black" seats, offering a delightful contrast between beige and black. For the "MANUFAKTUR Platinum Magno" body color, the interior features a dark theme with "MANUFAKTUR Titanium Grey/Black" seats.
Wood materials are also generously incorporated, featuring "MANUFAKTUR Open-pore Black Ash wood interior trim" to create a refined cabin ambiance, and a "MANUFAKTUR Cherry Wood Luggage Floor" that lines the luggage compartment. These elements allow the unique world of this special edition to be fully appreciated within the interior.
The powertrain consists of a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine (M177) producing a maximum output of 585 PS (430 kW) and peak torque of 850 Nm. Additionally, the ISG and 48V electrical system provide an electric boost of 20 PS (15 kW) and 200 Nm, enabling a 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 4.4 seconds.
A total of 150 units will be sold, with 30 left-hand drive and 45 right-hand drive for both "MANUFAKTUR Dark Olive Magno" and "MANUFAKTUR Platinum Magno" color options. The price for all units is 34.45 million yen.
