Lamborghini Unveils Two New Models Debuting in 2020

One of the two anticipated models is a limited-edition, track-only supercar. Developed by Lamborghini's motorsport division, Squadra Corse, and designed by the Centro Stile (Design Center) in Sant'Agata Bolognese.
Aerodynamics and mechanical characteristics have been engineered to maximize the power output of the 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine, which produces a maximum of 830 hp. At the event, features such as a large rear wing, a roof air scoop, and a race-spec front hood with dual air intakes were previewed through a video.
The structure consists of an aluminum front frame bonded to a carbon fiber monocoque. The engine compartment is fitted with a steel roll cage designed to maximize torsional and bending rigidity. A 6-speed sequential transmission from Xtrac is employed. Lamborghini claims this leads to optimal driving dynamics and a significant improvement in specific rigidity.
The "Urus ST-X," presented as the first-ever race-spec super SUV capable of running both on track and off-road, is powered by a twin-turbo V8 engine, achieving a lighter weight. The front features a carbon fiber hood with auxiliary air intakes, while the rear is equipped with a carbon wing and race-spec exhaust.
The body color is Squadra Corse's signature green, accented with red details. The cockpit, reinforced with a roll bar, includes race-spec seats. The "Urus ST-X" is slated for its circuit debut at the 2020 World Finals.
