Jaguar Land Rover Japan announced on Thursday, January 9th, that the Jaguar pure sports car, the F-Type, has undergone a minor change. Orders are now being accepted.

The F-Type's exterior design has been significantly transformed with this minor change.

The front features slimmer LED headlights as standard, complemented by a redesigned clamshell bonnet and a gloss black mesh grille, creating a powerful and sharp impression. The rear, incorporating the LED Checquered Flag signature light introduced in the I-PACE, Jaguar's first all-electric vehicle, harmonizes with the body's curves for an elegant finish.

The engine lineup includes three gasoline options: a 2.0-liter inline-four producing 221kW (300ps) and 600Nm, a 3.0-liter V6 with 280kW (380ps) and 460Nm, and a 5.0-liter V8. The 5.0-liter V8 engine sees a 25ps increase in maximum output to 423kW (575ps) and 700Nm of torque, achieving a 0-100km/h acceleration of 3.7 seconds.

The top-tier "F-Type R" model is equipped with this V8 engine and also features enhanced chassis performance. Upgraded springs, anti-roll bars, and continuously variable dampers for Adaptive Dynamics reinforce and complement the suspension, delivering a sportier driving experience.

Furthermore, by leveraging the quick-shift transmission technology developed for Jaguar's XE SV Project 8 sports saloon, manual shifting via SportShift or paddle shifts offers quicker response.

The interior now comes standard with a 12.3-inch Interactive Driver Display. The "JAGUAR Est.1935" design motif is subtly incorporated on the glove box button, center console finisher, and seatbelt guides.

The body is available in 12 standard colors, with an additional 4 colors in the SVO Premium Palette. Pricing starts at ¥8.65 million for the 2.0-liter inline-four Coupe and ¥9.33 million, with the Cabriolet at ¥11.01 million. The 3.0-liter V6 Coupe is priced at ¥12.37 million and ¥13.22 million (AWD), and the Cabriolet at ¥14.90 million. The 5.0-liter V8 "F-Type R" is ¥15.90 million for the Coupe and ¥16.11 million for the Cabriolet.

To commemorate this minor change, a "First Edition" based on the 3.0-liter V6 model is also offered. It features an Exterior Design Pack, contrast roof, Windsor leather electric performance seats, and a special red plaque, available in three body colors. The price is ¥14.54 million for the Coupe and ¥16.11 million for the Cabriolet.
