More powerful Black Badge and top-tier rear-focused models also join the lineup
The Ghost Series II, announced in October 2024, has finally been released in Japan.

The first thing that strikes you about the Ghost Series II is its clean, modern exterior, highlighted by the illuminated Pantheon grille, a design icon of Rolls-Royce.
The redesigned headlights and daytime running lights flow from the lower grille to the edge of the front wings, creating a commanding presence that emphasizes the generous 2,148mm width.
Furthermore, the lower section of the front end now features new chrome detailing that frames the Pantheon grille, underscoring Rolls-Royce's evolving design language.

At the rear, two expressive vertical taillights, inspired by the BEV "Spectre," have been adopted.
The vehicle is fitted with newly designed 22-inch, 9-spoke wheels, exuding the signature elegance of Rolls-Royce.

The interior has also evolved significantly. Notably, the central information display features the highly functional SPIRIT operating system.
This expands the scope of bespoke personalization beyond hardware to software, allowing customization of elements like the digital instrument dial colors to match the interior and exterior.
Additionally, "Whispers," the dedicated app for Rolls-Royce owners, is integrated, enabling users to send destinations directly to the car and remotely monitor its location and lock status.
The rear seats can connect up to two streaming devices, and this interface also manages seat functions such as massage and climate control.
Of course, the exquisite craftsmanship and beauty characteristic of Rolls-Royce remain. Spreading out in front of the passenger seat is the new illuminated fascia, inspired by a starry sky.
Further enhancing the cabin's allure, the Spirit of Ecstasy Clock Cabinet, meticulously designed by Rolls-Royce artisans, is centrally positioned, exuding its presence.
A sustainable new rayon fabric called "Duality Twill," made from bamboo, is also available for the textiles. Additionally, techniques like "Pleated Perforation," where small holes are made in the leather to create unique artwork, are offered, allowing for the creation of interior spaces tailored to each owner's preferences.
Just as the interior is designed to enhance the driving experience, the engine has also evolved to be more driver-centric. It is powered by a 6.75-liter V12 twin-turbo engine, delivering power to all wheels via an 8-speed transmission.
A key characteristic is its torque delivery: maximum torque is achieved at just 600 rpm above idle, at 1,600 rpm, providing the seamless, continuous acceleration that Rolls-Royce calls "waftability."
Contributing to the signature "magic carpet ride" of Rolls-Royce is the planar suspension system. It incorporates a unique upper wishbone damper unit above the front suspension assembly, which works in conjunction with continuously variable electronic shock absorbers and large-capacity air struts with self-leveling to ensure a smooth ride.
Other technologies include the Flagbearer system, which uses a camera to read the road ahead and adjust the suspension accordingly, and the Satellite-Aided Transmission, which utilizes GPS data to select the optimal gear for upcoming curves, showcasing a variety of advanced engineering.
Meanwhile, the more assertive "Black Badge Ghost Series II" has also been introduced. The Black Badge, described by Rolls-Royce as a "disruptive alter ego," features a striking exterior and a high-performance engine, focusing on the driver.
Additionally, the "Ghost Extended Series II" has been unveiled, featuring rear doors and an opening extended by 170mm to create a superior rear passenger space. This luxurious model offers options like reclining seats akin to a private jet cabin and a champagne cooler.
