Development Goal: To Create a One-of-a-Kind Car

The SC20, the second one-off model designed by Lamborghini's design department, Centro Stile, and engineered by its motorsport division, Squadra Corse, has been unveiled.
The SC20 was developed with the goal of "creating a one-of-a-kind car." Based on the owner's requests, Lamborghini designers created sketches that combine performance and race-car aerodynamics, incorporating unique lines and details not found in other models.
The carbon fiber body was meticulously finished by hand by aerodynamics engineers, achieving optimal airflow for both the car's performance and the driver in the cockpit. Lamborghini claims this allows for comfortable driving even at high speeds, despite being an open-top car.
The distinctive front splitter is framed by two fins, and the bonnet air intake is inspired by the Huracán GT3 EVO. Sculpted side sections incorporate solutions used in the Essenza track-focused hypercar, and a carbon fiber wing is fitted at the rear.
Furthermore, the SC20 features details unique to this model. The body color is based on white, accented by a striking blue livery. The interior echoes this theme with a combination of black and white.
The passenger compartment utilizes a carbon fiber monocoque structure, extending to the dashboard cover, rear wall, door panels, and steering wheel trim. Carbon fiber is also used for the shell of the seats, finished with Alcantara and leather.
At its heart lies a 6.5-liter V12 naturally aspirated engine, based on Lamborghini's flagship V12. It produces a maximum output of 770 CV and peak torque of 720 Nm. Power is managed by a four-wheel-drive system with a central electronic differential, mated to a 7-speed ISR transmission.
The wheels are fitted with Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires, with 20-inch rims at the front and 21-inch at the rear, secured by single-nut aluminum rims.
Maurizio Reggiani, Lamborghini's Chief Technical Officer, commented, "The SC20 is a machine that blends sophisticated technology, Italian craftsmanship, sportiness, and advanced design. It is undoubtedly a groundbreaking open-top car that carries Lamborghini's DNA, serving as a role model for future creations."
