Honda has launched the "GYRO CANOPY e:," a roofed, electric three-wheeler scooter for business use powered by a swappable battery, targeting corporate customers.

The "GYRO CANOPY e:" is powered by the new "Mobil power Pack e:" swappable battery, which features increased capacity. By swapping in a fully charged Mobil power Pack, riders can continue their journey without waiting for a recharge.

The "GYRO CANOPY e:," the third model in Honda's electric e: BUSINESS BIKE series, uses two of these new Mobil power Packs. While featuring a new handlebar shape designed for ease of use, it remains compatible with previous models, allowing it to be used across all Honda e: BUSINESS BIKEs. The "GYRO CANOPY e:" achieves a range of 77 km on a single charge (based on a constant 30 km/h speed test).

Furthermore, by adopting control technology that efficiently supplies drive current to the motor, it achieves fine torque control, resulting in smooth operation at low speeds and during reverse travel.

The vehicle is equipped with a large windscreen and roof to minimize the impact of weather conditions like rain, while still ensuring an open and airy riding space. The windscreen incorporates an electric double-link wiper and windscreen washer to maintain visibility during rainy rides.

The cargo area features a deck-type design that can be adapted to various uses. Features such as cargo hooks for securing luggage with ropes have been included, demonstrating consideration for ease of loading in diverse business scenarios.

Available in two colors, Loss White and Fighting Red, the price is ¥715,000.
