FCA Japan has begun accepting final orders for the Alfa Romeo 4C mid-ship sports car and its open-top sibling, the 4C Spider, as both models will cease production by the end of 2020. The order period runs until Thursday, April 30th. A "Final Edition" (tentative name) will also be offered at the end of 2020 to mark the conclusion of their storied history.

The 4C, unveiled in 2014, garnered acclaim for its lightweight 1,050kg body, mid-ship layout, and the signature sensual styling that defines Alfa Romeo. It now approaches the end of its production run.

With its 1,750cc 4-cylinder DOHC engine producing 170kW (240ps) and 350Nm of torque, driving the rear wheels through a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission, this model has captivated enthusiasts as a rare example of a lightweight mid-ship sports car.

While regular orders will close on Thursday, April 30th, both the 4C and 4C Spider will see a "Final Edition" (tentative name) released at the end of 2020, with a total of just 50 units available.

The price for both the 4C and 4C Spider, available until Thursday, April 30th, is ¥8,650,000.
