Developed with a Focus on Comfort

The fourth-generation Fit made its world premiere at the Tokyo Motor Show 2019. Building on the spacious interior and user-friendliness inherited from previous models, Honda has developed the new Fit with a focus on "comfort."
One example is the front pillar. It features a different cross-sectional structure than before, and in the event of a collision, a structure is employed to channel impact loads into the body, achieving both collision safety performance and wide visibility.
BASIC
Furthermore, the front seats incorporate a newly developed, next-generation body-stabilizing seat, also intended for use in premium sedans, which Honda claims provides a soft seating feel that reduces fatigue even on long drives.
HOME
The hybrid model is the first Honda compact car to be equipped with the "e:HEV" (pronounced e-h-e-v) two-motor hybrid system, developed to balance high environmental performance with a comfortable driving experience. It is said to allow for smooth driving using the motor in most everyday situations.
NESS
Five types are available. Specifically, there is the "BASIC," the fundamental type offering both design and comfort. The "HOME" features woven fabric seats with a natural texture using high-quality materials, a leather steering wheel, and soft prime-smooth pads, with coordinated colors and materials throughout to create a relaxing, high-quality space. Then there is the "NESS," finished with a light and fashionable taste, using highly water-repellent materials for the seat and instrument panel soft pad upholstery. The "CROSSTAR" enhances its rugged image with large-diameter tires. Finally, the "LUXE" comes standard with exclusive leather seats, offering a sense of premium quality. This is the lineup.
CROSSTAR
For safety equipment, the "Honda SENSING" advanced safety driver-assist system newly adopts a front wide-view camera that detects the area ahead with a wide angle. Combined with a total of eight sonar sensors mounted on the front and rear of the vehicle, it expands upon conventional functions and adds a near-collision mitigation brake, as standard equipment on all types.
LUXE
For connected services, Honda is introducing the "Honda CONNECT" in-car communication module, exclusive to Honda vehicles, for the first time in Japan. It offers remote operation via smartphone, trouble support where the car itself connects to an emergency support center in case of accidents, and the Honda ALSOK emergency dispatch service that can send guards when abnormalities are detected.

The Tokyo Motor Show 2019 is open to the public until Monday, November 4 (public holiday).
