Thrilling Driving Experience, Just Like the Screenless Model

The Elva, produced as a limited edition of 149 units worldwide within McLaren's top-tier "Ultimate Series" in 2019. The Elva, which inherited its name as an homage to the racing cars created by McLaren founder Bruce McLaren in the 1960s and were known as "Elva," was an ultra-lightweight model with no roof or windows.
The newly born windscreen version of the Elva retains the essence and performance of the original version, with its mid-mounted 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine producing a maximum output of 815ps.
Despite incorporating electronic rain-sensing wipers, a windscreen washer, sun visors, and heated glass, the dry weight is targeted to remain under 1300kg, an increase of only 20kg over the original.
The performance of the Elva, in either version, rivals that of the McLaren "Senna." The screenless model achieves 0-100km/h in 2.8 seconds and 0-200km/h in 6.8 seconds. McLaren claims that the windscreen model offers the same dynamic performance, chassis rigidity, and thrilling driving experience.
The windscreen version of the Elva, personalized by McLaren Special Operations (MSO) to reflect each owner's individuality, is scheduled for its first deliveries around the end of 2021.
