A limited edition of just 1,250 units worldwide arrives to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Porsche Boxster
Porsche Japan has begun accepting reservations for the "Boxster 25 Years," a limited edition of 1,250 units worldwide, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Boxster family's debut.
Reinterpreted Neodyme Accents on Wheels and Front Apron
The Boxster was born in 1996. It debuted as a roadster with Porsche's first mid-mounted, water-cooled flat-six engine, and has captivated many people through to the current fourth-generation 982 model.
The "Boxster 25 Years," limited to 1,250 units worldwide, is based on the current "718 Boxster GTS 4.0" model. It is powered by a 4.0-liter flat-six engine producing a maximum output of 294 kW (400 PS), and delivers 0-100 km/h acceleration in 4 seconds with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed PDK, offering impressive top speed performance.
The most significant feature of this special model is the reinterpreted Neodyme color. This shimmering copper-brown hue is used on the front apron, side air intakes with mono-bar, and two-tone 20-inch alloy wheels, proudly showcasing its special edition status.
Additionally, standard equipment includes the aluminum interior package, 14-way power-adjustable sports seats, door entry guards with logos, and a GT multi-function sports steering wheel with heating.
In keeping with the historical original style, the interior features Bordeaux Red leather upholstery. This is combined with a red fabric convertible top embossed with the "Boxster 25" logo.
The price is 12.26 million yen for the 6-speed manual and 12.812 million yen for the 7-speed PDK.
