Successor to the "up!", European sales price planned around ¥3.19 million

Since the launch of the "Beetle," Volkswagen has consistently offered affordable mobility. Now, they have held the world premiere of the ID.EVERY1 concept car, an entry-level BEV priced at around €20,000 (approximately ¥3.19 million).
Prior to the ID.EVERY1, Volkswagen plans to launch the BEV "ID.2all" in Europe in 2026, priced under €25,000 (approximately ¥4 million).
The ID.EVERY1, announced today, is positioned as the final piece in the company's strategy to build a comprehensive model lineup.
This ID.EVERY1, positioned as the successor to Volkswagen's compact models like the "Lupo" and "up!", measures 3,880 mm in length, 280 mm longer than the "up!". It seats four people and offers a luggage compartment capacity of 305 liters.
While inheriting the style of previous Volkswagen compact models, it features a friendly and appealing design, including dynamic headlights and a rear that appears to be smiling.
The chassis utilizes the new modular electric platform (MEB), the same used in the ID.2all and its sporty variant, the ID. GTI Concept.
The adoption of electric front-wheel drive allows for optimal use of the MEB platform's space and maximizes efficiency. It is equipped with a newly developed 70kW (90ps) electric motor, achieving a top speed of 130 km/h. The estimated range is at least 250 km.
Additionally, it will feature a newly developed high-performance software architecture, enabling software updates, upgrades, and even individual customization.
Volkswagen plans to launch nine new models by 2027, including four electric vehicles. The introduction of the affordable entry-level BEV, the ID.EVERY1, is expected to generate significant buzz.
