Developed to Surpass the NSX of the Past

Following the first-generation model, launched in 1990 as a mid-ship sports car with an all-aluminum monocoque body, the second-generation NSX was unveiled in August 2016, inheriting the concept of a "super sports centered on people."
It debuted as a model that achieved a high level of response and handling performance, difficult to attain with the engine alone, through the adoption of Honda's unique electrification technology, the three-motor hybrid system "Sport Hybrid SH-AWD (Super Handling-All Wheel Drive)."
The "NSX Type S," the final model announced concurrently with the production end, was developed with the aim of surpassing the NSX of the past. Further enhancements in performance and design are said to have been pursued. A new matte color, a limited edition, has also been introduced for the body color.
Sales are limited to 350 units worldwide, with only 30 units available in Japan. Pricing has not yet been announced.
