A Fusion of Modern Design and Triumph DNA
The all-white design prototype of the new Trident has appeared at London's Design Museum.
The Trident was developed over four years by a dedicated team in Hinckley, UK. The design was handled by Rodolfo Frascari, known for bringing Italian design influence to Triumph. The development focused on redefining a distinctive, dynamic, and captivating style.
Consequently, it adopts a modern form unseen in previous Triumphs, while integrating Triumph's design DNA through clean lines and minimalist functionality. Notably, the "tank knee indentations" on the sides of the fuel tank draw inspiration from the muscular styling of the "Speed Triple," a flagship Triumph model famously ridden by Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt in the film "Mission: Impossible 2."
The powertrain features a compact and powerful triple engine, boasting an ideal balance of low-end torque and top-end power, leveraging the advantages of the triple engine.
The Trident embodies Triumph's handling expertise through its latest chassis, rider accessibility, comfort, and an upright, natural riding position, offering a tangible sense of rider ergonomics. Its release is scheduled for Spring 2021.
