Equipped with the Latest Diesel Engine, Mindful of Environmental Performance

The current V-Class, which underwent a full model change in 2015 and a minor change in 2019, has received partial improvements.
The most significant improvement is the adoption of the latest 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder diesel engine, "OM654," across all V-Class models. It produces a maximum output of 120 kW (163 ps) and a maximum torque of 380 Nm, with reduced vibration and noise. All transmissions are paired with the 9-speed automatic transmission "9G-TRONIC."

The cylinder block and pistons of this engine incorporate materials with different coefficients of thermal expansion, and the introduction of NANOSLIDE®, a surface coating developed by Mercedes-Benz, reduces friction and improves efficiency.
Furthermore, it is mindful of environmental performance, featuring a shortened exhaust gas purification path and the adoption of sDPF (particulate matter filter with selective catalytic reduction coating). It is an engine that also focuses on purifying exhaust gases.
In addition, standard equipment includes brand logo projector lights that illuminate the lower part of the front doors, and a function to adjust the length of the seat cushion below the thighs of the front seats according to preference.

The newly introduced "V 220d Exclusive Long Platinum Suite" is the top-grade model of the V-Class. It features exclusive aluminum interior trim and Nappa leather seats for all occupants, creating a sense of luxury. The front seats are equipped with seat ventilators to prevent stuffiness between the seat and occupant, enhancing comfort.
Additionally, the standard digital rearview mirror assists visibility of the rear of the vehicle, which can be obscured by rear passengers or large luggage. It can also be switched to a conventional rearview mirror with the flick of a switch.

A center console with a refrigerator, offering a 3.2-liter capacity, is installed between the driver and front passenger seats. Behind the center console are cup holders with heating and cooling functions. In addition, the second row is equipped with exclusive seats featuring cup holders, USB ports, smartphone trays, and storage compartments as standard, supporting comfortable travel. Seat-back tables are also incorporated into the back of the front seats.
Prices range from 8.4 million yen to 10.16 million yen, reflecting increased raw material costs. The newly introduced "V 220d Exclusive Long Platinum Suite" is priced at 12.05 million yen.
