Both museums had been closed since February 24 due to the state of health emergency in the Emilia-Romagna region. However, following the recent guidelines outlined in Italian ministerial decrees, and in addition to measures developed in-house inspired by Ferrari's 'Back on Track' program, a series of preparations have been completed to welcome visitors once again.
For instance, thermal scanners at the entrance will check the temperature of all visitors, with options to reschedule visits if temperatures fall outside the normal range. Mask usage is mandatory for everyone except children under six, and masks will be provided free of charge to those who do not have one. Floor markings will be used to encourage adherence to social distancing rules.
To manage visitor numbers within approved limits, online tickets can be purchased on the museum's website, allowing visitors to select their entry time. All exhibitions, including 'Ferrari at 24 Heures du Mans,' 'Hypercars,' and 'Grand Tour,' will be accessible.
Furthermore, to express further gratitude to frontline healthcare workers, medical personnel will receive free admission to both museums until the end of 2020, with their families eligible for discounted rates during the same period.
