Renault Japon has announced a canvas top model for its compact "Twingo." Sales will begin on Thursday, December 5th.

The Renault Twingo received a minor change in August this year. While the 0.9-liter inline 3-cylinder engine powertrain and the RR drivetrain remain unchanged, the exterior features a revised rear bumper, extending the overall length by 25mm to 3,645mm. New LED lamps with a fresh design have also been adopted.

The interior now includes the "EASY LINK" infotainment system. With a 7-inch touchscreen, various smartphone functions can be accessed, and voice control using Siri or Google Assistant is also possible. Safety features have been enhanced with the addition of Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and tire pressure warning systems.

The newly introduced model is the long-awaited canvas top version. With a one-touch operation, most of the roof can be opened and closed, allowing for open-air enjoyment.

The body colors offered include five options such as John Mango and Blue Dragée. The price is ¥2,016,000.
