Equipped with a V12 Unit Producing 830cv and Reaching 9,500rpm
The 812 Competizione and 812 Competizione A are limited production models based on the V12-powered 812 Superfast, with enhanced performance. The body measures 4,696mm in length, 1,971mm in width, and 1,276mm in height.

The powertrain features a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine generating a maximum output of 830cv at 9,250rpm and peak torque of 692Nm at 7,000rpm, a 30cv increase over the Superfast. This was achieved through a redesign of key components, including the engine's conrods, pistons, crankshaft, and valve train. Notably, the valve train and cylinder head incorporate technologies derived from Ferrari's Formula 1 experience.
The intake system has also been redesigned. By making the manifold and plenum chamber more compact and shortening the overall path length, power output at high RPMs has been enhanced. The adoption of variable geometry intake ducts ensures a smooth, uninterrupted surge of revs all the way to the redline. Consequently, the engine can reach 9,500rpm.

The exhaust system incorporates a GPF (Gasoline Particulate Filter) to meet the latest emissions standards. Additionally, the use of a new exhaust tailpipe design generates the exceptionally refined engine sound familiar to owners of Ferrari V12 models. The evolved HELE system also includes an idling stop function.
To accommodate the increased maximum output, the cooling system has been modified. The adoption of a single front air intake maximizes the volume of cooling air, improving efficiency by 10%. For increased oil flow, the oil tank has been redesigned to operate with the lowest volume among current V12 models.
The transmission is a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, with shift times reduced by 5% through control calibration.

Aerodynamics have also been significantly improved. The single front air intake maximizes the opening, enhancing overall performance. For brake cooling, new front aero calipers, first seen on the SF90 Stradale, are employed. This reduces operating temperatures by 30 degrees compared to the Superfast, ensuring stable braking performance and feel even during extended track use.
A distinctive feature of the rear is the fully enclosed rear screen, with three protruding elements on the 812 Competizione acting as vortex generators. This enhances the effectiveness of the system comprising the rear spoiler and diffuser.

In contrast, the open-top Competizione A features a bridge element between the left and right flying buttresses to compensate for the absence of vortex generators. A stream of hot air is directed away from the cockpit, flowing along the side of the body before rejoining the wake behind the car.
In terms of vehicle dynamics, the car features four-wheel independent steering for the first time, an upgraded Side Slip Control (SSC) system to version 7.0, and dedicated Michelin Cup 2R tires.
Weight reduction has been achieved through the use of carbon fiber for the front and rear bumpers, rear spoiler, and air intakes, among other components. The adoption of titanium conrods, a lighter crankshaft, a 12V lithium-ion battery, full carbon fiber wheels, and titanium studs has resulted in a weight saving of 38kg compared to the Superfast.
These enhancements result in the 812 Competizione's claimed performance figures: 0-100km/h in 2.85 seconds, 0-200km/h in 7.5 seconds, a lap time of 1 minute 20 seconds at Fiorano, and a top speed of 340km/h.
