A Limited Edition Commemorating the Year of the Ox, Enjoyable on Both Track and Road

FCA Japan has set a limited production run of 20 units for the "695 Anno del Toro," a special edition based on the Abarth "595 Competizione" with added equipment including a large real roof spoiler. Reservations will be accepted through a dedicated website until Monday, January 25, 2021.

Features a Large Real Roof Spoiler Inspired by the "Fiat Abarth 1000 TCR"

Abarth introduces a limited edition named "Anno del Toro," meaning "Year of the Bull" in Italian. This model inherits the lineage of the sporty competition cars and is designed for enjoyment on both circuits and public roads.

The most striking exterior feature is the large real roof spoiler, designed to enhance vehicle stability during driving. This spoiler draws inspiration from the "Fiat Abarth 1000 TCR," a competition model from the 1960s based on the Fiat 600, reinterpreted for the modern era. The wing's angle can be adjusted up to 60 degrees, allowing for variable downforce settings depending on speed.

The body is finished in the exclusive "Blu Podio" (Blue) color, with a checkered pattern applied to the roof. Overfenders and side sills are finished in gray, evoking the atmosphere of a competition model. Vintage-style logo badges adorn the front and rear emblems, wheel center caps, and steering wheel.

The car is equipped with 17-inch 12-spoke alloy wheels. A mechanical LSD is fitted to the front differential to improve acceleration out of corners.

The powertrain consists of a 1368cc turbocharged inline-4 engine producing a maximum output of 132kW (180ps) and peak torque of 230Nm. Power is sent to the front wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
