LC Coupe Receives Updates to Deepen Ride Quality
Lexus is making partial improvements to its flagship coupe, the "LC." Sales are scheduled to begin after November 2021.
New Colors for the Convertible Create an Elegant and Luxurious Ambiance
Since its debut in 2017, the LC has consistently set the direction for the ride quality of Lexus' entire model lineup. This latest update focuses on further refining the ride of the coupe model, while also introducing new exterior and interior color options across all models.
For the coupe model, optimizations to the coil springs, stabilizers, and shock absorber control enhance tire contact feel, improving linearity in steering response and control during cornering G-forces.
On models equipped with the Lexus Dynamic Handling System (LDH), optimized control delivers responsive and agile performance. Lexus claims this enhances the joy of driving and stability by balancing vehicle posture optimization and control from low to high speeds.
Both coupe and convertible models gain the new "Sonic Iridium" exterior color. Additionally, "Terrane Khaki Mica Metallic," previously exclusive to the convertible, is now available for the coupe.
Furthermore, the coupe models, "LC500h" and "LC500 'L Package'," now come standard with 21-inch forged alloy wheels featuring a polished finish and black paint.
Interior color options for the convertible model include the new "Blue & White" combination, with "Marine Blue" available as a dedicated roof color. This creates an extraordinary, luxurious ambiance befitting the convertible model's pursuit of an elegant and opulent world.
Beyond these updates, the "nanoe" air purification system has been evolved to "nanoe X." Orange brake calipers are now available as a manufacturer option. For coupe models with a glass roof, the glass is now privacy glass, enhancing the contrast with the exterior color.
Pricing starts at ¥13.77 million for the hybrid coupe model and ¥14.50 million for the 5.0-liter V8 model, while the convertible model is priced at ¥14.77 million.
