MINI Introduces Limited Edition Expressing "Radiant Individuality and Boundless Freedom"
BMW has launched the "Brick Lane Edition," a limited-edition MINI featuring special colors. It will be sold in a limited run of 660 units across three models.
Metallic Body Colors with Blue Accents
The "Brick Lane Edition" is available for three models: the Cooper gasoline 3-door hatch, the Cooper D diesel 5-door hatch, and the Cooper D diesel Clubman.
The "Brick Lane Edition" is a limited model expressing "radiant individuality and boundless freedom," named after Brick Lane, a mecca for street art in London, the birthplace of MINI.
The body colors are White Silver Metallic for the 3-door hatch, Moonwalk Grey Metallic or White Silver Metallic for the 5-door hatch, and Enigmatic Black Metallic for the Clubman, each chosen to complement the model. A contrasting blue accent is incorporated throughout, and the roof features a special Sun Marino Blue paint.
The bonnet and sides feature exclusive stripes, and the pillars are adorned with a "B" emblem, the initial for "Brick Lane Edition." Additionally, for the first time on a new car, floating wheel caps are employed, ensuring the MINI logo always faces upwards.
Safety features are also enhanced. Standard equipment includes a front collision warning system and autonomous emergency braking, with a rearview camera also included as a special feature.
Sales numbers and pricing are as follows: 180 units of the 3-door hatch at 4.33 million yen, 300 units of the 5-door hatch at 4.63 million yen, and 180 units of the Clubman at 4.81 million yen. Deliveries are scheduled to begin from April 2022.
