Option Cost Support for Early Reservations by End of March

Since its debut in 1974, the Golf has seen over 35 million units produced in more than 45 years.
The 8th generation Golf, launching in 2021, features significant advancements in digitalization, electrification, and driver assistance systems. The "Digital Cockpit Pro," a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, comes standard on all models, and its placement alongside the infotainment system creates a clean, visually enhanced cockpit.
In terms of electrification, Volkswagen's first 48V mild-hybrid system assists with smooth starts and acceleration. The driver assistance systems incorporate first-time technologies for Volkswagen, such as the "Emergency Assist," which can safely bring the vehicle to a stop in an emergency situation, like the driver losing consciousness.
The models to be introduced in Japan are three grades: the "eTS Active" with a 1.0-liter engine and mild-hybrid system, and the "eTS Style" and "eTS R-Line," both featuring a 1.5-liter engine with a mild-hybrid system.
A total of eight body colors will be available, including the new Lime Yellow Metallic.
The campaign offers a ¥50,000 support for option costs to all individuals who reserve by the end of March. Furthermore, among those who place early reservations for the new Golf and whose current car's vehicle inspection expires by the end of April, an additional ¥100,000 will be provided as support for inspection costs, separate from the option cost support, assuming a trade-in.
