The 86 Special Edition, Dressed in Black x Bronze
Toyota Motor Corporation has announced a special edition of the "86" called the "Black Limited." A total of 86 units, 43 manual and 43 automatic, will be offered through a lottery-based sale.
Inspired by the Final AE86 Special Edition
The "Black Limited," based on the "GT" model equipped with a 2.0-liter engine, is limited to 86 units.
The body color is Black Silica, paired with bronze accents on the wheels, creating a model that evokes the final special edition GT APEX "Black Limited" of the Sprinter Trueno AE86, affectionately known as the "Hachi-Roku."
Specifically, it features special equipment such as 17-inch exclusive aluminum wheels with bronze paint, Brembo 17-inch ventilated disc brakes, and Sachs dampers. Additionally, a black-painted rear spoiler and floor under cover are included, enhancing its racing aesthetic.
The interior is also unified in black. The instrument panel in front of the passenger seat features bronze embroidery with a special logo, adding a sense of exclusivity. The seats combine genuine leather and Alcantara. Other premium special features include heated front seats and instrument panel ornaments, contributing to an overall sense of refinement.
The price is ¥3,518,600 for the 6-speed manual model and ¥3,586,000 for the 6-speed automatic model.
Applications will be accepted via a dedicated webpage until April 16 (Thursday), with the lottery results announced and the vehicle released on May 21 (Thursday).
