On Thursday, January 23, Renault Japon announced that it would sell 200 units of the "Couleur," a limited-edition model with a refreshing green body color, starting Thursday, February 6.

Kangoo has previously released special color models "Couleur" tailored to the seasons. This time, it arrives adorned with a body color inspired by the refreshing green of the French "Champêtre Bouquet" style.

The "Champêtre Bouquet" is a uniquely French bouquet characterized by its abundant use of herbs and greens, giving it a natural appearance as if gathered from a meadow, and a refreshing aroma. "Champêtre" is a French word meaning rustic or country-style, evoking the French countryside.

The limited edition features a body color in this special green, reminiscent of spring's arrival, complemented by a body-colored front grille blade, and black bumpers and door mirrors at the front and rear.

The base model is the "Kangoo Zen" with an AT transmission, powered by a 1.2-liter four-cylinder turbo engine producing 84 kW (115 ps) and 190 Nm of torque, driving the front wheels through a 6-speed efficient dual-clutch transmission.

A total of 200 units will be available. Applications will be accepted until Sunday, February 2, and sales will be by lottery if applications exceed the available units. The price is 2,647,000 yen.
