A Limited Edition Inspired by the World's Fastest MINI

BMW has announced the MINI John Cooper Works GP Inspired Edition, a limited-edition model inspired by the "MINI John Cooper Works GP" that was sold worldwide in 2019. Production will be limited until the end of February 2021.

Dressed in a GP-Exclusive Body Color

The "MINI John Cooper Works GP," produced as the fastest MINI in history, was limited to 3,000 units worldwide in 2019. Only 240 units were sold in Japan.
The "MINI John Cooper Works GP Inspired Edition" announced today is based on the "MINI John Cooper Works." It features the Racing Grey metallic body color, exclusive to the GP model, and is fitted with 18-inch alloy wheels with GP center caps.
Additional features include a Walknappa leather steering wheel with GP logo-engraved paddle shifters, and a Dynamica leather combination interior with GP logos.
The powertrain is a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder gasoline turbo engine producing a maximum output of 170 kW (231 hp) and a maximum torque of 320 Nm. It also includes driver assistance and safety features such as the Camera & Parking Assist Package, Cruise Control, and Driving Assist.
The "MINI John Cooper Works GP Inspired Edition" is a limited production model until the end of February 2021, priced at 5.29 million yen.
