The Evolved Leaf Nismo

Nissan has announced a model with improved driving and handling performance for its electric vehicle (EV), the Leaf Nismo, and has begun sales.

Adopting a Quick Steering Ratio and Updated Suspension

The EV 'Leaf' celebrates its 10th anniversary. As a symbol of Nissan's 'Nissan Intelligent Mobility,' it has continued to evolve, offering not only zero emissions but also the smooth, powerful acceleration unique to EVs, handling enhanced by a low center of gravity, and incorporating the latest technologies such as safety and connected features.

The 'Leaf Nismo' was born in July 2018. Featuring a sporty style that utilizes aerodynamics for its exterior, it became a model that infused the EV Leaf with the stylish image and performance of NISMO's signature 'pure sports' concept.

Now, the 'Leaf Nismo' has been enhanced. To improve its driving performance, it adopts a quick, European-style steering ratio, and the suspension springs, shock absorbers, and bumper rubbers have been tuned accordingly.

Furthermore, by precisely refining the VDC (Vehicle Dynamic Control) logic, acceleration performance out of corners has been improved. For the seats, new optional RECARO sports seats with a new-generation design, NISMO tuning, heating, and superior hold performance are now available, enhancing comfort.

Inside, similar to the 'Leaf' that received a minor change in January 2020, a 9-inch navigation system is now standard equipment. Connected features have also been significantly upgraded.

The price is 4,290,000 yen.
