New Patrol SUV to Return to Japan in 2027
Nissan will showcase its latest models for the Japanese market, alongside vehicles developed with strategic partners to meet regional needs, at the Japan Mobility Show. Among these, the "three flagships" are particularly noteworthy.
The fourth-generation Elgrand, making its world premiere, represents the minivan flagship. Equipped with advanced technologies including the 3rd-generation e-POWER system, it promises an up-close look at its commanding styling and more.
Meanwhile, the Patrol, the SUV flagship, is also set to appear, with its planned return to Japan in the first half of fiscal year 2027. Although Nissan has not offered a large SUV model in Japan since 2007, the new Patrol model will be released in the Japanese market.
Additionally, the Ariya, the BEV flagship, will be presented in its minor-changed form. This model is scheduled for a minor update within the fiscal year, featuring a refreshed front design that enhances its advanced and premium feel, along with the addition of a V2L function enabling power output from the EV battery.
The display will also include the recently fully redesigned Leaf, the N7 BEV sold in the Chinese market, the compact car Micra which will be revived as a European BEV, the Fairlady Z, and a Formula E car.

Furthermore, as part of its sustainability initiatives, an experiential corner for "NISSAN ENERGY," proposing smart energy management utilizing EVs, will be available (advance reservation required).
To coincide with the Japan Mobility Show, Nissan has launched a special website and is also planning a special event with jazz musician BLUE GIANT on Saturday, November 8th, and Sunday, November 9th, making it an unmissable occasion.
The "Japan Mobility Show 2025" will be open to the public from Friday, October 31st, starting at 1:30 PM, until Sunday, November 9th, at Tokyo Big Sight.
