On May 21, Triumph Motorcycles Japan announced the "Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition," the first official James Bond model in the "007" film series. Production will be limited to 250 units worldwide, with just 20 for Japan, priced at ¥2,590,000. Sales are slated to begin in late June 2020.

Unique "007" Exclusive Design

Last December, Triumph entered into a partnership agreement with Eon Productions, the producers of the "007" series, announcing that Triumph motorcycles would be featured in dynamic action sequences in the latest installment, "No Time To Die."
The "Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition" is inspired by the custom Scrambler 1200 that appears in the film's motorcycle stunt scenes, and is based on the "XE," the top-tier model in the series.
The body features a beautiful "007" logo exhaust number board and side panel lower finisher, a premium leather seat with embroidered logo, a TFT display with a BOND Edition exclusive startup screen, and a "007" exclusive body color inspired by the motorcycle in the film.
All parts are finished in black, and the aluminum risers are fitted with a plate bearing the serial number. Owners will also receive a special handover pack containing a certificate of authenticity with the handwritten signature of Triumph CEO Nick Bloor.
The 1,200cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, with a 270° firing interval and Scrambler-specific tuning, produces a maximum output of 90ps at 7,400rpm and a maximum torque of 110Nm at 3,950rpm. The 6-speed transmission offers six riding modes: ROAD, RAIN, OFF-ROAD, SPORT, RIDER, and OFF-ROAD PRO, delivering powerful torque from low to mid-range speeds on both on-road and off-road conditions.
"No Time To Die," distributed by Universal Pictures International, is scheduled for release in the UK on November 12, 2020, and in Japan by Toho Towa Co., Ltd. on November 20.
