The Lightest and Most Powerful Model, Featuring Weight Reduction and F1-Derived Technology

The 750S, which McLaren touts as its "lightest and most powerful series," has made its Japanese debut.
The 750S is the successor to the 720S, powered by a mid-mounted 4-liter V8 twin-turbo engine, the M840T, with an increased output of 750ps and 800Nm of torque.
Weight reduction through the use of carbon fiber and technology honed in Formula 1 (F1) contribute to a top speed of 332 km/h, 0-100 km/h acceleration in 2.8 seconds, and 0-200 km/h in 7.2 seconds (7.3 seconds for the Spider).
Shane Harman, Product Planning Manager at McLaren Automotive, who visited Japan for the premiere, commented, "The 750S was created to reach new heights for McLaren."
He further stated, "While maintaining our core advantage in supercar manufacturing through weight reduction, we have further evolved McLaren's driving experience, achieving a more integrated dynamic performance, class-leading power-to-weight ratio, and the pure performance only a high-performance engine can deliver."
Global deliveries of the 750S, unveiled here, are scheduled to begin after October 2023.
