Output and Torque Significantly Improved Through Tuning

The Vantage, with its 74-year history, first appeared in 1950 as a symbol of the race-proven, upgraded engine package of the DB2. Now, the fastest model in its history has arrived.
A major focus is the refinement of the 4-liter V8 twin-turbo engine, which has been a feature of previous models.
Aston Martin's development team implemented extensive tuning, including changes to the cam profile, optimization of the compression ratio, larger turbines, and enhanced cooling, boosting the maximum output to 665ps and peak torque to 800Nm.
Compared to the previous model, this represents a significant improvement of 115ps and 115Nm in output and torque, respectively – a 30% and 15% increase.
Furthermore, these enhancements have resulted in an engine that produces an even sharper sound than before.
The engine, mounted in a front-mid configuration, is paired with an 8-speed ZF transmission. The top speed is 325 km/h, with 0-100 km/h acceleration in 3.5 seconds. By increasing the final drive ratio and calibrating the transmission shifts, the car has been tuned for responsive and engaging driving.
A new launch control system has also been introduced. Aston Martin states that drivers can now disengage traction control themselves during acceleration from a standstill, allowing for even more ideal acceleration.
Five drive modes are available: "Sport," "Track," "Wet," and "Individual," which allows for custom calibration of the chassis.
The body utilizes an aluminum structure, with added reinforcing components to enhance torsional rigidity, contributing to a cohesive driving dynamic.
The exterior features a body that has been widened by 30mm, creating a powerful and wide stance. The grille opening is 38% larger, enhancing its visual presence and increasing the airflow needed for the upgraded cooling system.
Additionally, cooling intakes integrated into the bumper on either side of the grille sharpen the front-end aesthetics. The car is fitted with 21-inch forged alloy wheels, further accentuating its powerful styling.
In contrast to its race-inspired exterior, the interior embodies ultra-luxury, featuring a refreshed and elegant cabin, along with the latest infotainment system compatible with both iOS and Android.
Meanwhile, frequently used controls, such as drive mode selectors, are positioned for intuitive operation without the driver needing to take their eyes off the road.
Production of the new Vantage is scheduled to begin in April 2024, with deliveries expected to commence in the latter half of 2024.
