Maserati Launches Ghibli Final Edition to Mark the End of Diesel Production, Limited to 24 Units

In line with Maserati's transition to electrification from 2021 onwards, production of the Ghibli's diesel model concluded with the 2020 model year. To commemorate the final production run of the diesel model, the Ghibli Diesel Final Edition has been released in a limited run of 24 units.

Matte Black & Red Wheels, Not Available in Japan

The Ghibli Diesel, Maserati's most fuel-efficient model with the lowest CO2 emissions, debuted in 2016 as an entry-level Ghibli. In preparation for the shift to electrification from 2021, production and sales will cease with the 2020 model year.
The Ghibli Diesel is powered by a 3-liter V6 turbo diesel engine, producing a maximum output of 275ps and peak torque of 600Nm, with fuel consumption rated at 7.0-7.6 L/100km on the European NEDC cycle.
This commemorative special edition features the "Proteo Wheel in Matte Black & Red," a 19-inch wheel not offered in Japan. It also includes popular options such as red brake calipers, shift paddles, and the driver assistance package.
The body colors are Grigio, Grigio Maratea, and Nero Ribelle (black), with 8 units allocated to each color, totaling a limited production of 24 vehicles.
Despite including approximately ¥1.64 million worth of special equipment, the price is set at ¥9.5 million, about ¥750,000 higher than the base model.
Furthermore, an exhibition event, the "Maserati Ghibli Diesel Final Edition Open Door Weekend," will be held at Maserati dealerships on November 7th and 8th, 2020.
