A Special Edition Citroën C3 Aircross SUV Dressed Up in Chic Colors

Group PSA Japan has launched the "C-Series Chic Edition," a special edition of the compact SUV "C3 Aircross SUV," dressed up in chic colors.

A Global Special Edition

The C3 Aircross SUV, which debuted in Japan in July 2019, marks its first anniversary in the country. The "C-Series Chic Edition" has arrived as a global special edition, taking its name from the "Confort" (comfort) and "Chic" that Citroën, now in its 101st year, has pursued since its founding.

The exterior features a monotone body color in Gris Platinium or Natural White, with the Venetian stripes on the rear quarter, a distinctive feature of this model, intentionally omitted. It is characterized by a chic color coordination of a black roof and roof rails, along with deep red accents in a matte finish.

The interior similarly uses a tweed-like seat material with deep red accents on a dark gray base, and dark red stitching is applied to the floor mats. As further proof of its special edition status, the front doors beneath the side mirrors feature "C-Series" badges, and the door sills are adorned with logo metal trim.

The equipment is also enhanced. It comes standard with a soft-touch leather dashboard and Grip Control, which is usually only available as part of an optional package on the higher-grade Shine trim.

The powertrain is a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder turbocharged engine, producing a maximum output of 81 kW (110 PS) and a maximum torque of 205 Nm.

Available in two body colors, Gris Platinium or Natural White, the price is 2.88 million yen.
