Electric Quattro System with Two Motors Driving All Four Wheels

The e-tron GT comes in two versions: the "e-tron GT quattro" and the higher-performance "RS e-tron GT." Body dimensions are 4.99m long, 1.96m wide, and 1.41m high, with a wheelbase of 2.90m.
The exterior features a beautiful Gran Turismo style with large 19- to 21-inch wheels, a wide track, a flat silhouette, and a long wheelbase. Sculptural design elements include a low-set Singleframe grille, Quattro blisters, a steeply raked roofline, a flat window area, and a concave rear end.
Electrically operated air intakes for the brakes and radiators, a two-stage retractable rear spoiler, and a covered underbody contribute to a drag coefficient of 0.24. Matrix LED headlights are standard on the RS e-tron GT and optional on the e-tron GT quattro.
The interior adopts a "monoposto" design that wraps around the driver. Leather is not used on the low-set seats or the wide center console; instead, numerous recycled materials are employed for trim and upholstery. Luggage space is 405 liters for the e-tron GT quattro and 366 liters for the RS e-tron GT.
The powertrain features an electric all-wheel-drive Quattro system with two motors, one at the front and one at the rear, with the rear motor transmitting torque via a two-speed transmission.
The e-tron GT quattro is equipped with a front motor producing 175 kW (238 PS) and a rear motor producing 320 kW (435 PS), for a total output of 350 kW (476 PS) and 630 Nm of torque. In boost mode, available for 2.5 seconds, output increases to 390 kW (530 PS) / 640 Nm. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds, with a top speed of 245 km/h. Electric consumption is an average of 19.6–18.8 kWh/100 km, and the maximum range is up to 487 km (WLTP).
The RS e-tron GT, on the other hand, features a front motor producing 175 kW (238 PS) and a reinforced rear motor producing 335 kW (456 PS), for a total output of 440 kW (598 PS) and 830 Nm of torque. In boost mode, the output increases to 475 kW (646 PS). It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, with a top speed of 250 km/h (limited). Electric consumption is an average of 20.2–19.3 kWh/100 km, with a range of 472 km.
The battery is a 92 kWh (85 kWh usable) lithium-ion unit with an 800V system, comprising 396 pouch cells divided into 33 modules. It supports AC charging at 11 kW and 22 kW, and DC charging at up to 270 kW. At 270 kW, it can gain 100 km of range in just 5 minutes.
Regarding driving sound, it comes standard with AVAS sound, which refines the legally mandated noise. The optional e-tron sport sound can be selected to generate additional interior and exterior sounds depending on the Drive Select mode.
The control interface includes the standard Audi virtual cockpit plus (12.3-inch), MMI touch display (10.1-inch), voice control, and a head-up display. Driver assistance features include the standard Audi pre sense safety system, with optional "Tour," "City," and "Park" packages. The infotainment system comes standard with MMI navigation plus, featuring a Wi-Fi hotspot.
Assembly takes place at the Böllinger Höfe plant in Neckarsulm, Germany, using carbon-neutral methods, on the same line as the high-performance sports car "R8." Orders for both versions began in February 2021. Base prices in Germany are €99,800 for the e-tron GT quattro and €138,200 for the RS e-tron GT.
