Always Streaming the Latest Maps Without Data Updates

The Camaro, which had previously been announced as featuring it, has now been launched with "Cloud Streaming Navigation" as standard equipment.

The "Cloud Streaming Navigation" is a fully connected in-car navigation system with DR (Dead Reckoning) map matching, jointly developed by GM Japan and Zenrin DataCom. It enables autonomous navigation even in environments where GPS positioning is not possible, such as in tunnels.
GM states that the constantly streamed, up-to-date maps allow for comfortable route guidance and online free-word searches, freeing users from the hassle of data updates.

To use this service, a subscription to the telecommunications service via the 4G network operated by SoftBank is required.

To coincide with this introduction, improvements have been made, including the new standard fitment of wireless charging in the rear of the center console.
Pricing starts at 5.56 million yen for the "LT RS" with a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder turbo engine, and 6.44 million yen for the "Convertible" with the same engine. The top model, the "SS" with a 6.2-liter V8 engine, is priced at 7.10 million yen. Deliveries for all models are scheduled to begin in January 2021.
